About
The Salon California Journal is where beauty, culture, technology, and society occasionally bump into each other and start a conversation. Written from my chair in Brasschaat, Belgium, it is a collection of observations, reflections, questions, and the occasional raised eyebrow.
Drawing on a lifetime spent around beauty, art, business, and people from all walks of life, I explore the ideas that shape how we live, work, connect, and sometimes confuse ourselves. One day I might write about a beauty trend, the next about artificial intelligence, social habits, or why common sense seems to have become an endangered species.
This is not a place for absolute answers. It is a place for curiosity, thoughtful discussion, and looking beneath the surface of things. If a post makes you think, smile, disagree, or see something from a different angle, then it has done its job.
